Republicans will not have an easy win against Democrats no matter how bad a Democrat candidate is. Democrat Party has mastered a new way to win elections which Americans did not imagine.
If you are shocked by the midterm results in 2022, you shouldn’t be. There is a precedent. 2020 Election. Democrats and Republicans have expressed some form of shock: awkward joy or sorrow. What really happened?
America is in worse shape than at any time in recent history. Inflation is starving people. Crime is so high even rich Democrats don’t feel very safe. People are struggling to fill their gas tanks. Mental health is a crisis. Hundreds of Americans are dying every day because of illegal drug overdose. Illegal immigration is the highest in history. Businesses shut down during the peak of the pandemic haven’t been able to reopen. A US president openly trashes people who don’t vote for his party which makes Americans hate each other. There is a war going in Europe that America doesn’t know how to keep funding anymore. The threat of nuclear missile. And many more.
Still, a so-called Red Wave didn’t happen.
In 2020 election, Democrat Party successfully picked a candidate and put him in the basement. While Joe Biden stayed in his shelter, all forms of media personalities campaigned for Biden and against his opponent and the Republican Party as a whole. Americans didn’t know much about Joe. Media not only campaigned for him, they also protected negative stories of Joe from publication and their social media allies prevented the negative stories no matter how truthful they were from dissemination. This resulted in Americans knowing only one version of the media’s fact: Trump is evil. Vote Biden.
They succeeded.
They employed the same successful strategy for 2022. They won again.
To those who blame candidates and argue for candidate quality, they need to do some soul searching. Oz may not be your favorite person and you may be mad because the famous orange hair guy endorsed him, what was so great about Fetterman’s candidate quality? People don’t even know much about him. Political positions aside, he may be a great guy. But by the time people figured out Fetterman couldn’t speak a few sentences clearly, it was too late. Several hundred thousand votes were already mailed. He successfully avoided debates. The media’s war against Oz was unstoppable.
Their strategy will continue: Hide their candidate. Acting as a Democrat party super-PAC, media campaigns against the Republican candidate. The media does not publish negative information on their preferred Democrat candidate. Tech platforms censor all negative stories of their preferred candidate. Voters will know who not to vote.
It does not matter how great of a message you have if you cannot make your message reach voters. It does not matter how bad America is doing if voters are reminded to hate half of their own people every morning.
Elections are fun for the pundits, but America is declining rapidly. Very rapidly.
