When I wrote this post back in 2014 shortly after the Indian elections, Trump didn’t occur in my mind. I had said that we are noticing more and more people becoming conservatives. I drew a parallel between the United States and India as these two nations represent the largest democracies in the world.
Little did anyone think that Narendra Modi would become the prime minister of India considering how much criticism and negative press he had faced since his days as the chief minister of Gujarat. Yet, he emerged as the winner, and all the pundits were proven wrong.
The trend will continue.
In early 2015, when we saw several candidates, politicians and outsiders alike, declaring their candidacy for the Republican presidential nomination, Donald Trump’s announcement was perceived as just another addition to the crowded field of seventeen candidates. Within a few days, he was the front-runner. He touched Americans in a very different way that no one could imagine. He battled against his own party who did not want him to get the nomination, the press, the opposition, and many groups. The people remained firm in their opinion.
Trump’s vision is very simple – so simple that Americans understood it and made Trump immune from any controversy. He wants to make America great again, he puts America First, and he thinks of American interests, US jobs, US economy, US trade positions – everything that Americans could connect to.
It is very difficult to argue against Trump. As an American, he has put America First and his all policies represent that. Simply put, going against Trump may look like un-American.
He has already accomplished what no one had ever imagined. He will continue to increase his number as more and more people listen to him and understand his views. As the US president, caring for the citizens of the United States is the top priority and Trump shines there.
It’s a great year! History is in the making and it’s a great opportunity for the people to choose a man who wants to make America great again!
Trump will win!
