The labor market must keep on tightening to increase wages and put all Americans at work

Deregulation, business friendly policies and focus on helping Americans have resulted in a tight labor market. If Trump’s immigration policies are implemented, no American will remain unemployed.

Although there is no factual data on how many illegal immigrants are in the country, there are reports that suggest anywhere between 20 to 60 million. This has resulted in unemployment, underemployment, fewer job choices, and lower wages among many other issues. Trump’s America First policies and prison reform will create more tax-paying citizens. Economic empowerment and opportunities will help Americans, not the policies that make Americans dependent on government checks.

Finding gainful employment is the most effective deterrent to falling back into a life of crime, studies show. But felons have long been some of the last candidates in the hiring pool. Now, with one of the tightest labor markets in decades, some employers say they are more willing to consider applicants with criminal histories. – WSJ
